With every month that passes, I find it hard to believe that our time with Charlie could get any better than the moment that we are living in. And yet, with each new moment, somehow it becomes even better. This month he’s learned to sit on his own! Granted, he keeps trying to nose dive forward as he keeps trying to stand or crawl. He wants to be on the move constantly and has the cutest giggle.

This little boy is the daily medicine I never knew I needed. He smiles constantly, reminding me that there is always something to be happy about – even if things seem dark. He reminds me to celebrate the little wins in life. He reminds me that it’s okay to take a leap because there are people there who will support me along the way.

I hope he’s learning from us, but man oh man are we learning from him.
