When Katlyn reached out to us she mentioned that they were going to have donuts instead of cake at their wedding. SOLD. And then she filled us in on how incredible their relationship was and how they met and the distances they traveled while doing long distance.
And it just kept getting better. On wedding day we met up with these two in southern Indiana at Huber’s Orchard and Vineyard on the rainiest of days. These two, and all of their guests, literally waded through one of the heaviest rainstorms of the year to celebrate the love they share. They took on the indoor back-up plan and decided the rain didn’t matter, they were getting married. Honestly, it was one of the coolest moments for us. Adam and I were so bummed for them that they couldn’t get their outdoor vineyard wedding that it made us tear up a bit when they took on the back-up plan without missing a beat. We got to celebrate, take couples portraits in a wine cellar, and capture every candid moment.
And bless those delicious doughnuts.
