If you select an Associate Collection, your wedding day coverage will be by one of our skilled associate photographers instead of Adam or Becca. Our level of care and commitment to you and your wedding is significant. For that reason, each of our associate photographers must meet our strict standards in order to be able to capture your wedding day. They are skilled and talented while also having a shooting style extremely similar to our own. These collections are new to our wedding day offerings and we know they are going to be incredible. Your day-of coverage and engagement session will be by one of our associates but your wedding planning, timeline assistance, photo editing, and so much more will be done by Adam or Becca. We’re excited to offer associate collections so that we can provide our A.R. Davis Photography wedding experience to more couples!

We know this is a scary thought, but it shouldn’t be! We’ve faced many rainy wedding days and we’ve found that if you face it head on and positively, we’re going to get some amazing photos! We always recommend grabbing some cute clear umbrellas so we can we really embrace the weather and make the most of it! Plus we promise to take advantage of any dry time throughout your day!

For every wedding we have: 3-4 Canon 5d Mark iv’s, Canon 35mm 1.4, Canon 50mm 1.2, Canon 85mm 1.2, Canon 135mm 2.0, multiple flashes, tons of extra batteries and memory cards. We’ll have a whole backpack of gear with us beyond those items mentioned above to help us with your day! You can entrust that we will bring some of the best gear available to your wedding day – those camera and lenses don’t mess around! If you hire us for photo and video and want to know all of the gear we’ll have with us, we can for sure fill you in!

You’ve come to the right place! If you’d like our advice when planning your engagement looks please feel free to utilize us as much as you’d like! Send us photos of the clothes you plan to put together and we’ll give you some ideas. The key here is to (1) be yourself! (2) neutrals are always good and (3) complimentary outfits end up stunning in the photos and don’t distract the image from all the love going on between you two! Yes! If you would like to break the payments down across a few months or between signing your contract and your final payment that is fine! We can set it up for you in our online system essentially in whatever way you would like whether it be weekly, monthly, quarterly…you get the idea! The only portion of the payments that can’t be adjusted is your 25% non-refundable deposit required to book and hold your date.

Knock on wood – this hasn’t happened and we hope to God it doesn’t! If for some reason we are not able to make your wedding, we would do everything in our power to find a photographer with similar style to fulfill our contract. With the deep bench of people we have from Adam & Becca to associates, second shooters, and fellow wedding photography friends, you are in good hands that if this situation arises, we will get it sorted out.

We require a 25% non-refundable deposit. This is due in order to hold your date on our calendar. At the midway point between booking and your wedding, 50% of the remainder will be due and the final payment will be required 1 month prior to the event date. (25%, (remaining) 50%, 50%).

At each step, all amounts paid are non-refundable with exception of an act of God permitting us from completing our contract in which case you will be refunded if we are unable to provide a back-up photographer to complete the contract on your wedding day.

Of course! We take this seriously and really feel it’s something that our style shines through on. Our goal is to build a relationship with you, not just take your picture and tell you where to point your head! We’ve made it our job and goal to break that barrier and bring out your genuine selves. (This may mean dad jokes…sorry in advance). We’ll use poses, prompts, and cues to get amazing photos at your engagement session and on wedding.

Wedding turnaround time for photography is 6-8 weeks and engagement session turnaround time is 3 weeks. Wedding turnaround time for videography is 8-12 weeks.

YES! We back your whole wedding up more than you could imagine. No images are going missing on our watch. If this is a question on gear backups then that is also a yes! We are always prepared for a camera or lens issue. We always have back up gear if needed – either for photography or videography.

We will not provide RAW files of photos. The editing of the images is a significant portion our work and of why you hired us. If you feel this will be an issue, we are probably not a good fit. We do include raw video footage with our videography options. It’s important to know that this is unedited footage and audio is not guaranteed in the raw footage.

We include a minimum number of photos in each wedding collection but we won’t limit ourselves to providing you that number! We set this as a minimum because there are so many contributing factors and we want to make sure that you know, no matter what, you’ll be getting a certain amount of images….even though you’ll most likely be getting more 🙂 Plus, if we have more photos that we love, why wouldn’t we give them to you to cherish?
