A Love Story Spanning Ten Years
August 2, 2024, marked a monumental day for Ryan and Joe—celebrating their 10-year anniversary with a wedding that was nothing short of magical. The Inn at Irwin Gardens in Columbus, Indiana, served as the perfect backdrop for their ceremony, a place dear to our hearts as it’s where we shared our first look on our wedding day. The estate’s stunning gardens and grand architecture, nestled in the heart of downtown Columbus, made it an idyllic setting for this unforgettable day.
Capturing a Memorable Proposal
Three years ago, we had the honor of capturing Joe’s meticulously planned surprise proposal to Ryan at Mill Race Park. It was an intimate picnic for two that turned into a joyous celebration when family surprised them after Ryan’s enthusiastic “yes.” Fast forward to their wedding weekend, and the love and joy from that day only grew stronger.
A Ceremony at The Inn at Irwin Gardens
Their wedding ceremony on Friday was a beautiful testament to their love story, surrounded by lush greenery and the elegance of Irwin Gardens. The air was filled with emotions as Ryan and Joe exchanged vows, promising a lifetime of love and laughter. The energy was palpable, and we were overjoyed to be there to capture every heartfelt moment. A few of our favorite moments (not like we could actually choose!!):
- Ryan blowing dust off his vows during the ceremony as a humorous nod towards the long wait to wedding day.
- A rainbow coming out after the ceremony!
- The “open mic night” style toasts at their dinner at Upland following the ceremony.
Their Wedding Weekend Continues with An Open House Celebration
The celebration continued on Saturday with an open house at Ryan and Joe’s beautifully remodeled home. It was a day packed with mouth-watering BBQ, delightful snow cones, and lively yard games. Family and friends filled the spaces with laughter and love, marveling at the stunning transformation of their home—a project that Ryan and Joe have poured their hearts into over the years.
Reflecting on a Joyous Wedding Weekend
Reflecting on the weekend, it’s clear that two days spent celebrating Joe and Ryan could never be enough. The happiness these two share is infectious, and the love they receive from their friends and family is heartwarming. Their willingness to drop everything to help those in need, coupled with their compassionate and joyful spirits, was evident in every story shared over the past 48 hours.
As we sit here reminiscing, it’s hard not to tear up thinking about all the love that filled the last few days. Ryan and Joe, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for choosing us to document your incredible journey. Your wedding was the epitome of soul-healing, happy-crying, pure joy, and we plan to relive it over and over again with the photos and videos we captured.
Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Congratulations, Ryan and Joe!
