There’s something truly magical about a fall wedding at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion, and Claire and Jaylen’s special day in Carmel, Indiana, was no exception. From their stunning ceremony at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral to the chic, urban portraits in downtown Carmel, every moment of their fall wedding was full of joy, love, and so much fun.

We had the honor of capturing both photography and videography for Claire and Jaylen, and what made this day even more special was that it was our first time capturing a Greek Orthodox ceremony—just before we headed off to Greece ourselves! It was a beautiful experience, and we’re excited to share sneak peeks of this unforgettable day. I’m literally typing this from the plane!

A Love That Began at Purdue

Claire and Jaylen’s love story began in the midst of COVID when they were both at Purdue. From their first date, their connection was undeniable, and it only grew from there.

Fast forward to a magical winter night in Lafayette, under twinkling Christmas lights near the train station, where Jaylen got down on one knee and asked Claire to spend forever with him. Even though Claire didn’t see it coming, she now laughs at how nervous Jaylen was at dinner beforehand—everything makes sense in hindsight, right?

A Purposeful Greek Orthodox Wedding Ceremony

Their October day started at the breathtaking Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Carmel. Claire and Jaylen’s ceremony was filled with meaningful traditions. The light filtering through the cathedral’s stunning architecture created such a dreamy atmosphere, perfectly complementing the couple’s chic and elegant style.

After the ceremony, we headed to downtown Carmel near Hotel Carmichael for portraits. The modern urban aesthetic brought an edge of sophistication that paired beautifully with the elegance of their day.

A Timeless Reception at Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion

The celebration continued at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion, and let me tell you—it was absolutely stunning. The glass walls made the entire space feel like an indoor garden, and the soft lighting created a warm, inviting atmosphere for everyone. From the chic tablescapes to the elegant floral arrangements, every detail was thoughtfully curated to reflect Claire and Jaylen’s vision.

What made the day even more incredible was the perfect weather. It was one of those perfect fall days where the sun was shining, and the air was crisp.

A Celebration Full of Love and Laughter

One thing we’ll never forget about this day is the energy. Claire and Jaylen’s personalities—Claire’s extroverted, thoughtful, and social nature paired with Jaylen’s logical, caring, and quietly funny demeanor—set the tone for a day that was as heartfelt as it was fun. Their love for each other shone through in every interaction, and their friends and family made sure the celebration was full of laughter, dancing, and pure joy.

Their connection goes beyond the big moments; it’s in the small, meaningful things they do for each other. It was an honor to capture these moments, knowing that they’ll look back on this day and see how deeply loved they are by everyone around them.
