It’s not news anymore that COVID-19 changed a lot of our wedding plans this year. At this point in 2020 we were suppose to have captured 8 weddings and countless other sessions. With having a little baby at home, we’ve been extra cautious to keep our household healthy throughout all of this. That means we haven’t had a photo session (other than with Charlie) for months! Which is hard to believe sine this time of year is normally so busy.
Breanna & Colin’s engagement session was something we’ve both been looking forward to because it was our first session back since COVID-19 shut things down. The funny thing is, while we do this all the time, we were a mix of excitement and nerves going in to this session just because the last time we did an engagement session…things we very different!
But, wow! This session was stunning. Breanna and Colin were effortless in front of the camera and Brown County State Park was showing off, per usual.
The second Adam got home, he shared the session photos with me. We were both so excited looking through the photos and getting to finally flex these muscles that have been on rest day for far too long. Getting to edit Breanna & Colin’s engagement session was something I’d been looking forward to all week because I was SO excited to get back to our photography work.
Going through these photos and working on this blog has me feeling even more grateful for our clients who have ridden a rollercoaster with us this year. I’m grateful you continue to choose us. I’m grateful you put your wedding day in our hands. Living the past few months without weddings/engagements has made Adam and I more grateful for this job, and for you, than we could ever find words for. So, thank you.
