There are some wedding days that leave you smiling long after the camera is set down, and Heather and Mike’s October celebration at INDUSTRY in Indianapolis was one of those days. Every detail was a reflection of their personalities, from the autumn-inspired florals to the playful, customized touches for their wedding party.

We had the honor of capturing both photography and videography for their day, which was a perfect blend of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

A Morning of Connection and Celebration

The day began at INDUSTRY, where Heather, surrounded by her bridal party, got ready in matching personalized pajamas. The air was full of joy and excitement as the bridesmaids helped her into her stunning gown. Over at The Conrad, Mike and his groomspeople shared laughs and memories while getting ready. And, of course, watching some football!

Mike gifted his groomspeople, Heather’s father, and his own father with custom tie clips and cuff links. For his groomspeople, there was even more fun custom details to be enjoyed: bobbleheads that resembled each member of his wedding party!

These unique gifts didn’t just add a touch of fun—they were a testament to the care Heather and Mike poured into making their day meaningful for their loved ones.

A Ceremony Filled with Love

As Heather walked down the aisle, with her father by her side, the love in the room was palpable. The autumn sunlight filtered through the windows of INDUSTRY, casting a warm glow over the ceremony. Family and friends beamed with joy, and Heather’s father, who had been helping her fluff her train all day, looked on with so much pride. It was a moment that made us pause and reflect on the incredible connection between Heather and Mike and the people who have supported them along the way.

Heather and Mike exchanged vows beneath a backdrop of stunning autumn-inspired florals, the rich, warm tones perfectly complementing INDUSTRY’s industrial-chic aesthetic. Every moment, from the heartfelt vows to the quiet glances between them, told the story of two people who are not only in love but deeply committed to their journey together.

One of our favorite parts of their ceremony was learning that they celebrate their first phone call anniversary every month! They spend the 21st of each month together reminiscing their first phone call.

Sunset Magic and Epic Dance Floor Vibes

As the sun began to set, we stole Heather and Mike away for some sunset photos, with the iconic Lucas Oil Stadium in the background. The soft golden light made for some of the most beautiful shots of the day. It’s these in-between moments—the laughter, the whispers, the gentle touches—that tell the real story of a wedding day.

And then it was time for the celebration to really begin! The dance floor came alive, with friends and family filling INDUSTRY with energy and joy. From the first dance to the last, the entire night was a celebration of Heather and Mike’s love. It also displayed the incredible community that surrounds them. We captured every laugh, every twirl, and every moment of pure joy.

As photographers and videographers, it’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do. It’s not just about capturing beautiful images. It’s about preserving the memories, the laughter, and the love that makes a wedding day truly unforgettable.
