A Love Story Rooted in Connection

Hannah and Ben are the kind of couple whose love radiates in every glance, every touch, and every shared smile. Their wedding day felt like an extension of who they are. Although they now call Denver home, their roots in Indianapolis run deep, and it was clear how much this city and their family and friends meant to them.

Their love story unfolded in front of their nearest and dearest, many of whom traveled from far and wide to be there. You could feel the excitement in the air!

The Beauty of St. Joan of Arc: A Wedding Photographer’s Dream Ceremony Spot

Hannah and Ben’s ceremony took place at St. Joan of Arc, a historic and grand church in Indianapolis. The timeless beauty of the space matched the elegance of their day perfectly. Hannah looked radiant as she made her way down the aisle in a classic yet modern gown that took everyone’s breath away—including Ben, whose expression said it all.

The ceremony was intimate, yet full of life, as they exchanged vows filled with sincerity and emotion. It was one of those moments where we were reminded of how lucky we are to capture such personal, life-changing events as wedding photographers.

A Stunning Reception at Mavris Arts & Event Center

After their beautiful ceremony, the celebration moved to Mavris Arts & Event Center, where Hannah and Ben brought the outside in. They transformed the industrial space with soft draping, vibrant floral arrangements, and a warm, inviting ambiance. The reception was a blend of elegance and personality—reflecting their love for nature and each other.

The floral designs were a work of art, infusing the space with color and life, while the subtle touches of lighting created a romantic, magical atmosphere. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the carefully curated décor to the layout of the evening.

Moments We’ll Never Forget As Hannah & Ben’s Wedding Photographers

One of the things we love most about being part of a couple’s wedding day was capturing the moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. And, there were so many to choose from:

• The tears in Hannah’s father’s eyes as they danced together.
• The way Ben’s face lit up when surrounded by his lifelong friends.
• The quiet, intimate glances they shared throughout the night.

One of our favorite moments came during their blue-hour portraits which were complete with the city skyline in the background and the last light of the day casting a soft glow. It was a chance for them to soak in the magnitude of their day. It was also a chance for us to capture the love that flowed between them which was unfiltered and real.
